 Cigarettes and Coffee was written on a dark night some years ago. I was feeling paranoid and nervous for no good reason. I picked up the guitar which immediately calmed me and writing this song became like a prayer. Though I wanted a bit of a disclaimer to say I  wanted my "own way home".
